Poplar house was built in 1700 and was originally a house that was later enlarged when a family moved in 1878, they were known as “the poplars”. The land around the house used as a farm was surrounded by Poplar trees this gave the salon name today as ‘Poplar House’. In 1981 a local lady opened the ground floor as a salon! It has been refurbished and modernised many times but still keeps some of its old traditions. Creating a popular salon that moves with the times and trends, also creating a great social hub within its ever-evolving community situated at Burton Latimer within the town of Kettering continuously expanding, we are always seeing new as well as old faces coming through our doors, making it a great place for local people to connect.

Working very closely with our colour representative Dermalogica skincare and Louelle Belle nail professionals, it enables us to ensure all our staff receive regular training and education. Therefore, we can promise the latest trends & techniques along with facial treatments and nail care suit each individuals’ wants and needs
